Channels are sources of orders. These could be:
- Your stores where customers walk-in – Point of Sale Channel
- Your online webstores built using Magento, WooCommerce or Shopify
- Online marketplaces like Amazon and eBay
- B2B Channels which depicts your wholesale trade and Manual Orders
Steps to create a new channel
- Step 1. Go to the Channel menu. On the channel landing page that follows, you can see,
- A list of all the existing channels
- Their status on Primaseller, i.e. if they are Active/Inactive and Connected/Not-Connected with the respective marketplace
- Step 2. Click on Add Channel
- Step 3. Click on the icon of the channel that you want to add
Now, you can provide configuration details of the online channel you want to synchronize. This step will be skipped for B2B and POS channels.
Channel Listings
Once you are done with the creation of a channel and connecting it with Primaseller, your next step is to add SKUs to the respective channel – This is called a Channel Listing.
A Channel Listing consists of three key codes:
1. SKU Code – the SKU code of the SKU you are listing
2. Seller SKU Code – The code of the SKU as per your listing on the channel (online channels only). This is usually the same as your SKU code but you can choose a different one
3. Channel SKU Code – The code of the SKU which is generated by the channel (online channels only). ASIN in Amazon and Item ID in eBay for example
You can also specify the following attributes:
- Listing Price (MRP) – The main listing price on the channel
- Selling Price – The actual price at which it is sold on the channel
- Shipping Cost – The shipping cost that you will incur on this channel
- Inventory Type- The inventory count that you want to push to the channel (actual or fixed quantity)
