Step 1: Re-attempt failed transactions
Typically sometimes some transactions don’t sync because of a missing dependant object that got created later than the actual transactions. All it needs is a re-attempt.
You can do that by navigating to Accounting and clicking on the “Sync Pending and Failed Transactions” button below the connection status table.
Step 2: Filter Failed Transactions and see Failure messages
If the above does not work, to investigate failures, you need to see the individual failure message. For example, if invoices are not syncing, please follow the below steps:
- Navigate to Online Orders -> Click on ‘Closed’ under Invoices on the left as shown in the image below. Closed invoices are invoices for which Shipments are shipped and these are the ones that will sync to QBO.
- Apply the filter for “Synced with QBO”, to select Pending and Failed Invoices as shown below:
Next, If you have any failed invoices, please hover the mouse over the red error icons to see the error on each invoice and decipher what to do.
- Error Codes: We store and display the error code received from QBO in the hover popup seen in the previous step. If you see an error code from QBO in this error message and the implication is not obvious enough, you can decipher it using this link.
